"Beckoning Hills Revisited" has entry on this family p. 245..."Wallace was born...1869 at Bluevale,Ontario...came to Manitoba with his family at the age of twelve...to homestead...west of Boissevain...in 1895 [Mary Elizabeth Watson]and Wallace were married in Kilarney...they settled on the homestead [16-3-20 which the family of Peter Hill homesteaded when they came to Boissevain area]...farmed until 1945 when their son Elmer was married and took over the farm operations...
