• Anecdote, 17 Oct 1820, Jersey Township, Steuben County, New York. Jasper Mabey was in Jersey Township, Steuben (now Schuyler County) on October 17, 1820, even though he does not show on 1820 census. He signed an affidavit for John Britten for a Revolutionary War pension. He stated that John Britten's wife, Hannah, lived with his family in 1772-1783. ⁶
