According a genealogy done by Maurice Strobeck, William was
born in 1783 and baptized in the Helderberg Reformed Church in
Guilderland, Albany Co. in 1785. However, the records of the
Helderberg Reformed Church in Guilderland do not even start
until July, 1786!

of Jasper Mabie Ovid, Seneca County, New York
