He died after 1179.1 William de Briouze succeeded to the title of Lord de Briouze, Normandie. He succeeded to the title of Lord of Bramber, Sussex [Feudal].2 He gained the title of Lord Abergavenny [Feudal] circa 1173.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Hereford Easter 1173 to 1175.1
