http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bianca_Lancia
Born ca. 1200/1210 in Agliano Terme, Bianca was a member of the Lancia (or Lanza) family of Piedmont, so-called since her grandfather Manfred I had been lancifer of emperor Frederick Barbarossa. There is no source which definitively states who her parents were Bianca married Frederick II of Germany Hohenstaufens Emperor of Germany [5609] [MRIN: 551618895], son of Henry VI of Sicily Holy Roman Emperor [7571] and Constance of Sicily Queen regnant of Sicily [7570]. (Frederick II of Germany Hohenstaufens Emperor of Germany [5609] was born on 26 Dec 1194 in Iesi, near Ancona, Italy and died on 13 Dec 1250.)
Bianca Lancia d'Agliano (also called Beatrice and Blanche) , an Italian noblewoman, was the mistress and later the wife of emperor Frederick II of Hohenstaufen. The marriage was conducted while she was on her deathbed, therefore it was considered non-canonical. |
