Not sure about this family link. In 1494, he witnessed a grant from John Teye to John Dalon, Franklin, William Johnson, and William Crouche, yeomen, all of Waltham Abbey, of a tenement and garden in East Street in Waltham Abbey which had formerly been held by Thomas Teye, father of the grantor.
