• Acceded: Duke of Burgundy, 965. On 22 February 965. He was elected by the Burgundian counts to succeed his brother and they gave him the name Henry. However Otto-Henry only held three counties of his own, his vassals holding the remaining six that compromised the core of that held by Richard the Justiciar who died in 921. Henry married Gerberga of Macon (Chalon) Heiress [4594] [MRIN: 1332], daughter of Leotald II of Macon Count of Macon and Besancon [4595] and Ermengearde of Chalon [64479]. (Gerberga of Macon (Chalon) Heiress [4594] was born in 956 in Italy and died in 989.) |
