• Acceded: Duke of Burgundy, 965. On 22 February 965. He was elected by the Burgundian counts to succeed his brother and they gave him the name Henry. However Otto-Henry only held three counties of his own, his vassals holding the remaining six that compromised the core of that held by Richard the Justiciar who died in 921. ![]() Henry married Gerberga of Macon (Chalon) Heiress [4594] [MRIN: 1332], daughter of Leotald II of Macon Count of Macon and Besancon [4595] and Ermengearde of Chalon [64479]. (Gerberga of Macon (Chalon) Heiress [4594] was born in 956 in Italy and died in 989.) |
