knighted in 1487 after the defeat of Lambert Simnel. He commanded t roops in France in 1513, and later became treasurer of the Middle Temple a nd is listed in the Dictionary of National Biography. His descendants beca me Governors, Deans, Bailiffs and Attorney Generals in Jersey and are ment ioned in Balleinne's Biographical Dictionary of Jersey.
