  William was also known as Wetherill. He and Mary Fisher immigrated in 1634 on the Hercules departing from Sandwich, England, arriving in Charlestown, Massachusetts Bay Colony. Their children Samuel , Daniel and Thomas  traveled with them. Reverend William Wetherell was a schoolmaster, then pastor of the church in Scituate. He left a will on 29 March 1684.2 His will was proved/probated on 4 June 1684.
