Notes for ALEXANDER DE HILTON , M.P.: 1332 Summoned to be Member of Parliament for Durham 6 Edward III 1333 Served in the Scotch wars with Ralph Lord Neville. 19/7/1333 Battle of Halidon Hill 1335 Summoned to be Member of Parliament 9 Edward III Gave lands in Broxfield to Alnwick Abbey. 13/10/1346 Ralph Neville commanded at the Battle of Neville's Cross so Alexander may also have fought there
