Richard Hutton was born on 5 April 1613 at Poppleton, Yorkshire. He was the son of Sir Thomas Hutton of Poppleton & Anne Bennet.
Richard Hutton married secondly Dorothy Fairfax <http://www.linleyfh.com/oursecondsite-p/p304.htm#i24581>. Their other children were Sir Thomas, Richard, Matthew & Dorothy. His first wife was Ursula Sheffield, daughter of Sir Edmund Sheffield, son of 1st Earl of Mulgrave.
Richard died on 8 April 1648 aged 35.
