per Janice Sutherland notes: after Elizabeth's death Sthephen moved back up to the Bruce area and married a second Elizabeth. He died of carcinoma of the liver, April 7, 1928, and was buried at Bayview Cemetery at Wiarton. (Sect. 2,Plot 28). He was 83. The second elizabeth, whom Stephen married, died August 6, 1970, of heart disease. She is buried alongside Stephen at Wiarton.

Elizabeth married Stephen Hill [39512] [MRIN: 551618361], son of Calvin Gibbs Hill [39595] and Mary (Polly) Rowley [39594]. (Stephen Hill [39512] was born on 31 Aug 1851 in Dereham Township, Oxford County, Ontario, Canada, died on 7 Apr 1928 in Bruce Area, Ontario, Canada and was buried in Bayview Cemetery, Wiarton, Grey County, Ontario, Canada.). The cause of his death was carcinoma of the liver.
