a zealous Roman Catholic, was-suspected of complicity with his brother Charles in the Babington plot <http://www.tudorplace.com.ar/Documents/Babington_plot.htm> and the Throckmorton plot <http://www.tudorplace.com.ar/Documents/Throckmorton_plot.htm>, and was attainted in 1587. But the peerage was restored in 1604 to his son William, 4th Lord Paget.
Thomas married Nazareth Newton Baroness Paget of Beaudasert [45526] [MRIN: 551610687], daughter of Sir John of Hawtrey Newton [45527] and Margaret Poyntz [59016], after 1568.
