eldest daughter and heir. Shortly after her 15th birthday, was married to her first husband, Sir Edward Cayce. Two years after nuptials, Sir Edward was taken ill with the pox and died. Since there had been no issue from this marriage, she inherited all of his property, including Leicester Abbey.
