Gilbert's Company of the 36th Regiment of the Virginia Militia, and as private in Captain James Hayes' Company of Renno's 36th Virginia Regiment of Militia, and in Captain William Dulin's Company of Renno's 6th Virginia Regiment of Militia; married Roxey Ann BARTON (b.Fauquier Co., Va., 1809), daughter of Thomas and Sarah Drummond Barton, Warrenton, Fauquier Co., Va., 11 August 1831; a cooper by trade; appears census Fauquier Co., Va., 1850; died Orleans, Fauquier Co., Va., after 1871;
