#10648 This Margaret Pattullo, #10646, is a twin to William Pattullo, #10648, and unless one was born before midnight and one after midnight, they should both have the same date listed as their birthdate. <Archibald Campbell and this Margaret Pattullo had one daughter, Jean. She married a George Dean (date unknown), and they had no offspring. I first met Jean (Campbell) Dean as a teenager and she later attended my wedding. She was very close to my Mother's sister, Mary Isabella Short, and lived in Spokane, WA, USA for a short time. Through my Aunt Mary I inherited an 1856 sampler made by Jean's Mother, Margaret Pattullo, when she was 15 years old, and made on a piece of a linen wedding gown of her elder sister, Jane. I have this sampler framed, and on a wall in my home. It lists all the children of Halket and Jane (Robson) Pattullo. <The last known onfo about Margaret's twin, William, is found in the British Columbia Archives in a newspaper of the Cariboo region, in which he was carrying the mail to Pincher Creek gold fields, and fell through "skookum ice" (soft), but made it out o.k. I am still searching for him and whether or not he died in B.C. as did his elder brother, Thomas Robson Pattullo who died in Barkerville, B.C.> Ruth E. Dorman [email protected]
