of their 10 children moved to Michigan from Yates County in
Western New York. They settled in Solon Township (at the time
was part of Algoma twp.) about twenty five miles North of Grand
Rapids, Mich.

Joseph married Phoebe Mabie [39104] [MRIN: 551604151], daughter of Amos C Mabie [39243] and Ainor Fisher [39107]. (Phoebe Mabie [39104] was born on 17 Nov 1818 in probably New York and died in 1892.)
