Mabie, died Tuesday at the old homeplace near North Webster, at
the age of 69. Mrs. Mabie had an attack of pneumonia 7 weeks
ago, but apparently recovered. Her last illness dates from
Saturday morning last, which resulted in her death. She was one
of the oldest settlers in that part of Kos. County and was a
woman of exemplary character. Besides her husband, four
children survive - John B. Mabie, Sheriff W.A. Mabie, Mrs.
Jeremiah McKenna and Mrs. Ollie Weimer. Funeral will be held at
1 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the M.E. church at North
Webster.
