He was reportedly lost at sea on the Wilkes Antartic
Expedition; however he may have left the ship in Sydney,
Australia

• Occupation: A Bandmaster in the U. S. Navy in an expedition for the South. ³²
Pole headed by Wilkes. It is presumed that he left the ship at
an Agentenian port, either going or coming.

• Baptism, 4 Oct 1801, Old Dutch Church of Sleepy Hollow (now First Reformed Church of Tarrytown), Tarrytown, Westchester County, New York. ⁵⁷⁵⁴

• No Name, 21 Jan 1830, White Plains, Westchester County, New York. ⁷⁶⁹³ Henry Maybee was mentioned in the will of Adam Mabee 21 Jan
1830 White Plains, Westchester County, New York. "Will of Adam
Mabee, of White Plains, Westchester Co., written 1/21/1830,
proved 2/8/1831, mentions wife Ann and son Thomas B. Mabee.
Probate documents also mention children Henry Mabee, Clarissa
Mabee, Charles Chauncey Mabee, Ann Eliza Mabee and Edmund
Mabee."
