• No Name, 15 Dec 1836, Passaic County, New Jersey. 10394 15 Dec 1836 Passaic County, New Jersey John Peter Mabie On
12/15/1836, the surviving children of John Mabie and Leah Rutan
sold land in Passaic County that had been purchased by John in
1809 and 1810. The Grantors in this sale to Daniel B. Decker
were listed as Peter Maybe of the Township of Pequanac (Morris
County, NJ), Jane Maybe (wife of Peter); William Maybe, Laty
Maybe (wife of William), and David Maby of the Township of West
Milford (Passaic County, NJ); William Echart (husband of Jane
Maybe) and Mariah Cough of the Township of Franklin (Bergen
County, NJ); and Abraham Maybe of the Township of Harves Straw
(Rockland County, NY). An Elizbeth Payne also signed this deed,
apparently in lieu of David Maby. This deed was witnessed by a
John Maybe.

• Residence, 15 Dec 1836, West Milford Township, Bergen (now Passaic) County, New Jersey. 10434 David was "incompetent". He did not sign the deed to his
father's land, Instead it was signed by Elizabeth Payne,
presumably his guardian.
