• Anecdote, 16 Oct 1807, Niagara, , Ontario, Canada. ⁴¹²² Oct 16, 1807 at Niagara, Niagara District; "The King vs. George
Burgher for grand larceny, George Burgher was bound in
recognizance, himself in the sum of £50, and Joshua Petit of
Stamford and John Maybee of Willoughby, his sureties, in £25
each, on condition that the said George Burgher do appear to
take his trial on this indictment at the next Assizes to be
held in and for the Niagara District."
