One of the prettiest double wedding ceremonies ever performed in the county will take place March 22, at the home of he bride's brother, Mr. Henry Haywood, 327 Lake avenue in Elyria, The contracting parties are Misses Minnie and Jennie Haywood both of Lorain, and Messrs. Joseph Maybee of that city, and Mr., Jesse Darlington, of Amherst. Dr. Wm. Dawson of the First Methodist church, of Elyria will perform the rites and will use the ring ceremony of the Methodist church, Only the immediate relatives and friends of the brides and grooms will witness the ceremony and attend the wedding supper, which will follow, The Misses Haywood have made Lorain their home for several years and having lived in Amherst 'before arriving here they have many friends in both places who will be very much surprised to learn of their approaching marriage. Mr. Maybee makes his h6me with his parents at Lorain, and is employed as a riveter at the stove works; Mr. Jesse Darlington is a resident of Amherst and Is employed as a machinist in that city. The young people will go on an extended trip through the East and upon their return, Mr. and Mrs. Maybee will make their home in Elyria, while Mr. and Mrs, Jesse Darlington will reside in Amherst A big full sheet or red and green posters on a billboard on Broadway Lorain, attracted a great deal of attention. It read a follows: " A double wedding March 22, 1906 Joseph, Maybee, Jesse Darlington, Miss Minnie Haywood, Miss Jenny Haywood. What a darling time [Maybee] we will have. May peace and joy ever be yours in the years to come is the wish of your Lorain and Amherst friends."
