his brother Randolf d.s.p. being slain 29 Mar 1461 at the battle of Towton and was buried at Saxton, Yorkshire when his honours became extinct. By act of Parliament, Humphrey became 2nd Lord and was attainted.
Humphrey married Mabel Parr Baroness Dacre of the North [40004] [MRIN: 8746], daughter of Sir Thomas of Kendal Parr Knight [19388] and Alice Tunstall [19389]. (Mabel Parr Baroness Dacre of the North [40004] was born about 1441 in Ravensworth, Yorkshire, England and died on 14 Nov 1508.)
