• Acceded: Count of Eu and Guînes, 1344. He succeeded his father in 1344 as Count of Eu and Guînes, as well as in his post as Constable of France.

Count of Eu 1344\endash 1350

Raoul IV was accused of treason in 1350, and the county was confiscated. The county was then given to John of Artois.

Raoul married Catherine de Savoye [18305] [MRIN: 8728], daughter of Louis II of Savoy de Savoye Baron de Vaud [13617] and Isabel de Joigny [18307], in Oct 1340. (Catherine de Savoye [18305] died on 18 Jun 1388 and was buried in Franciscan Church, Namur.)
