• Anecdote. ¹²⁶¹ Fred first settled on the Waugh River about one mile south east
of the village of Tatamagouche. Shortly thereafter he received
a substantial grant of land on the border of the districts of
Balfron and The Falls. He died in 1837 while falling a tree on
his farm

Frederick married Phoebe Mabee [34030] [MRIN: 551606851], daughter of John Mabee [32482] and Margaret [34036].¹²⁶¹ (Phoebe Mabee [34030] was born on 9 Apr 1806 in Old Cumberland Road, Wallace, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia, Canada ³².)
