His second wife Beatrice Pinto of Portugal, who married secondly, ABT 1423, Thomas Fettiplace of East Shefford, is easily confused with her namesake Beatrice, m1 Thomas FitzAlan, Earl of Arundel and m2 John Holand, Duke of Exeter. Defeated the insurgent Welsh in 1407. Served in the French wars. Captain General of the Marches in Normandy.
